The old Jeep's with carbs used a mechanical pump that wouldn't fit on a SBC. Sense it's a 95, if the stock pump in the tank is still functional then you just need a pressure reducer specific for carbs. Sep 21, 2007 · 41703. Comon guys YJ's use a return line, TJ's do not. Most of the manufactures switched at the OBD1/OBD11 transition. I own a 93 YJ and a 99TJ, YJ's have a regulator on at the fuel rail with the return going back to the tank and TJ's have a single feed line with all regulation in the tank as part of the sending unit. If you suspect that the fuel return line is blocked, a simple test to do would be to remove the fuel return line and blow through it. If you can do this, then it is not blocked. The question is if its your pump, fuel lines, the fuel filter/regulator (I didnt know that one) or you tank pickup. If it were mine, i would run new line from the front to the rear for both the supply and the return lines. As well as the brake line, cause once you start messing with them, they will just start leaking somewhere else.
